Ok, Hi everyone. As I pointed out in my first un authorised post I am not a DJ but a member of a rock type band. I do however have a keen interest in LED lighting and having looked on the band forums, there seems not that much about them. On here, there is loads of info on the LED future. Expect, not much from me in the way of DJ banter, more of a lookin in type.

I'm from Tamworth too ;)

I play regular around the area, I have a night this saturday (PM my if you fancy an invite). I'll be using 3 different types of LED lights that night. 1 type I have used at a recent gig at the V bar.

Anyway here is my view on LED lighting....

1. could be much more powerful on the brightness side of lighting
2. not long before they come with some funky gobos
3. more movement would be nice lol

Other than that, light bars are the way forward for band use...However effective ones may come at a price!!
