Well guys the newly (ish) revamped Mobile Disco Directory has just generated my my first lead, just requested a bit more info and ill see where it goes.

This is a fairly big thing as the vast bulk of my ork comes from organic google searches and not via the multimple directory sites i use (i have had one or two off others aswell).

I got one a few weeks ago and it was very vague from someone called Vicky, so I asked for a bit more info so I could quote her appropriatley. Never heard from her since:( :bang:

It does seem that if they can't be bothered to read your write-up and actually go to your website for more information and enquire throught that, then they're generally time wasters. It's the same with all online directories though.

In fairness though dan, i have had a couple elsewhere which have been through a directory and been firmed up. Its the whole internet thing, its not quite caught up with folk round here. Its great for getting work of tourists getting married up here, but i dont think (edit scrub that, just checked and i havent) ever had a web enquiry for a local (as-in 25 mile radius (ish)) disco.

Yep, and replied. Shindig is at Digital isnt it? Im 99% sure ive been over, and will be planning it again :)

It was mate, But it's now held at the World Headquarters, Carliol Sq, Newcastle. To keep the charvers out:)

No it's monthly now (unfortunatley) Due to other promoters who were already established on Saturday nights there. But speaking to Scott just last week they're looking for another venue so they can go weekly again. But because of the type of club it is it has to be the right venue and thats easier said than done:(
