Morning Everyone
Finally I have finished designing my new website, after many months of trying to find something I am happy with.
Although there maybe a few more tweaks left to do and a bit more text to add I am now very happy with the finished product.
Would it be possible for you guys and gals out there to have a look and give me any feedback you have, you can be as hard or as gentle as you like (Ooo-er Missus) :beer1:

I'd take the subsonic text away at the top of your page. You don't need logo and text

Not a thorough review by any means, but a few immediate observations from looking at the first couple of pages. I've viewed it in Safari and IE8.
1. The font is horrible... it renders badly on both browsers and you should consider changing it IMHO
2. LOTS of spelling & grammatical errors too many to list here
3. Overall not a bad "feel" to the site. I like the limited use of Flash, the colours are OK, but I dislike the fact that each page has a completely different layout - some that need to be scrolled through and some which don't. It's not a consistent feel.
4. On Safari there's a stray grey stripe towards the bottom of the page (see pic) - actually scrap that, I can't reproduce it now. Must've been a glitch the first time I visited.
5. In the code, you've left in all of the comment fields from the template/scripts that you've "borrowed". This not only makes your page bigger than it needs to be, increasing download times and bandwidth usage, but it also dilutes your keyword density
6. On some of the pages the header text doesn't stand out from the body text making them difficult to read - for example the Quiz page and the Karaoke page
7. "Southwests Premier Mobile Disco" - is there a place called Southwests? Perhaps that could be "The South West's Premier Mobile Disco" or even "The Southwest's Premier Mobile Disco" ;)
8. I don't like the colourscheme used in the gallery in particular the grey padding in the thumbnail windows. It just looks a bit too Web1.0 to me.
9. The translucent backdrop on the Weddings page is a nice touch ... why not extend that to the other pages? For example, Karaoke could have a microphone, Quiz could have a bunch of coloured question marks. There's plenty of cheap stock pics around you could use for this.
10. Some of the pages have an "unfinished" feel about them - in particular Weddings, and there's no "Call To Action" on any of them which is very odd. At the very least you should have a phone number and/or email address on EVERY page in a prominent place. I know you have an 'Enquiry' page but there's no 'Contact Us' or similar?
11. And most important of all. Page titles and META DESCRIPTIONS are either blank or just have Subsonic Discos in them.
Any more's gonna cost :D
It's not a bad looking site overall - it certainly has potential :)

Does look like a nice site.
I've only just had a quick glance, though, and my eyes were drawn to your name in the section at the bottom of the home page. Is there any reason why the "y" in "Jolly" is in bold? Looks a bit odd.

In the same sentence, "Subsonic discos is ran..." needs changing to "Subsonic discos is run..."

It looks OK, but it's a WebEden / Moonfruit type deal and I think we all know my opinions on those....(see my post with links to 2 other threads in your original post about them (http://www.forum.mobilediscodirectory.co.uk/showthread.php?t=24216))
I like the limited use of Flash
It's ALL Flash (except for not very nice non-flash content)!

On closer inspection it appears that you are correct sir :sofa: I didn't get that far down the source code :p
Mind you I did say...

On the whole... not a bad site, I have certainly seen worse. These comments from a guy who has been going to do one for years... I must say the vectisvibe sites are probably the best I have seen, these set the benchmark!
