Deckstand Booth

Hi Guys,

I'm looking to buy one of the Deckstand Micro's and just wondered if anyone had the full size Deckstand Pro? (i think the micro is only just available, so unlikely to have one of those) If you have one, what is your honest opinion? Is it easy to set up? Does it look good? Which cloth have you got for it? Does the cloth attach well? are there any faults developing? you know the sort of thing.

I have gone through using the search facility, and as far as i can see, there are no reviews just a few rants regarding S+H booths, but no real comparisons or feedback from anybody that has one (Deckstand Booth Pro). Hence the questions.

I took delivery of the deckstand micro last week, I opted for the serge wool covering. In all honesty, I haven't got round to setting it up fully yet, but from the look of it, its obvious it's engineered very well, and looks absolutely rock solid and of a very high quality. As for ease of putting together it looks simple enough.

I'll post a full review with pictures next week when I get in on the road for the first time.

i got the full sized one and its the best bit of kit Ive got. Everytime Ive used it so far Ive had someone comment on it which speaks volumes to me.

Used the Deckstand Booth Pro for nearly a year now, and been gigging with the Micro one for about 4/5 months now.

There are quite a few topics on the deckstand booth pro -

I can answer your questions but i would be slightly biased really but sure others will reply... The only thing i will say is they are built to last life on the road, they look good and will happily survive and not fall over with people bumping into it etc... Mind you be careful of the people around knocking up cheap imitations to sell through the forums and on the likes of ebay as although they look similar the build quality is probably very different!

Thumbs up for the booth, we purchased one 3 months ago and although i have the s and h as well my son uses this one with no issues at all.
Cheaper than s and h to be honest for the price great bit of kit.

Yeah I'd second that too. It is quite heavy mind but can easily carry it if you rest the frame on your shoulder and walk it in. You would struggle to push it though with your kit on and you gain so much more workspace too which is ace. I can easily keep my cable cases etc.... underneath without it being in the way.
