Sorry for the quite crude title, but that is the only way of describing what it smells like.
Anyway, the machine (a Le Maitre Maxi Fogger) is in a pub that i do and ive never used it as the manager said that it smelt like the above title (only slightly cruder wording). I gave it a blast last night whilst replacing some lamps and its blooming aweful...made me gag.
So, if we assume that someone hasnt actually p:Censored: ed in the bottle, how do i fix it? Would cleaning it out and replacuing the fluid help, and if so is there some magic internal cleaning fluid that you pump through the system.
Any thoughts/suggestions/help would be appreciated.
Cheers
Steve

Try giving it a blast through with a solution of white vinegar and distilled water (no magic proportions here..... the stronger the solution required, the more vinegar and less water we use - even using just the vinegar if we have a stubborn blockage).
If it's just 'stale' maybe finish up running just distilled water?

Don't most of those contain oils? I'm sure I've heard they contribute to blockages & gummed up internals.

Thanks, that may be worth a shot.

It has to be smelled to be believed Martin. Ive a strong stomach, and even my gag reflex went. It really was overpowering.
On a different note, im guessing that with a lemaitre, they wont apprecate SoundLabs finest fluid, so any recommendations on fluid? (if i get the thing sorted) :)

I saw this in an email last week....
SMOKE MACHINE CLEANER 250ML (http://www.disco-world.co.uk/smoke-effects/smoke-machine-cleaner-250ml/prod_1321.html)
Never tried it, but one would assume it does exactly what it says on the tin. (Although this is not always the case)
Good luck with getting the machine working again!

Your right - I was a victim to this.
However, when it worked - it smelt marvellous. :D
