Bookings on nights other than Friday and Saturday

Are you getting more bookings on 'other nights' ??

Take this week for example. I was out Sunday, Monday and Tomorrow, yet off on Friday :confused: (although back again for Saturday :) ).

Next week I am out Mon, Wed,Thur, Fri then off Saturday ??

This is all private bookings also. I have a residency in a Thursday which I have not personally done for a few weeks now, and have today turned down 2 Sunday Bookings as I am already full :eek:

(I must add this is a mixture of race nights, karaoke and disco).

Yeah, I have found that people are taking up the venues 'mid week' discounted prices, and I find myself doing alot more thursday nights now! not complaining though, because I can pay my bills and actually relax over the weekend!

Yeah I do quite a few Sunday weddings every year but to be honest they are the typical Sunday wedding. Most people have work the next day etc so they go home early.

I have done a Wednesday wedding once and that was such a good night all the way through so it contradicts a little.

So long as you have work for that week and it makes up for the loss of weekend work then don't worry!

I have two Thursday Weddings in April and Sundays are getting more and more common too.

Do a good amount of midweek corporate stuff as well.

Most people have work the next day etc so they go home early.

If you're referring to discos, then most definately.

Within the last year I've done my first ever Monday and Tuesday weddings, and have also had a fair few enquiries for weddings on Wednesdays & Thursdays.

Not really.

For me, they are the third most popular days for wedding discos, after Saturdays & Fridays. Very closely behind Fridays, too!

Well after getting back from my first Wednesday night gig this year (:o ), a quick check of the diary throws up a couple of bank holiday Mondays but otherwise everything's Fri/Sat for the rest of the year. But it's still early doors...
