Got some cash to spend...

A) Mixer
B) Cortex, Numark D2, Dennon
C) Flightcase for it all

I'm slowly but surly replacing my sound/output gear - which will mean the dreaded Pro Dub licence...

Hopefully move over to either some RCF'S by the end of the year. :approve:

Why not buy new- some good deals out there at the moment.

Flightcase - £90
Mixer- as much as you want.

DDS-80 is the best value at the moment - there are still a few kicking around at a rather silly £450 ish.

My Denon HD2500 was only £399 and I found out later I could have had one for £350 plus VAT from a mate who gets trade prices.

I use the Denon HC4500 with VDJ for main playout and the Cortex HDC1000 for back up. I use the Numark C3 mixer, which has been really good so far, nicer sounding than my old KAM mixer and it's much better built.

It's all second hand...

Denon was £200
Cortex was £150
Mixer was £140

Case it's all in was £130.

So total of: £620.

Brand new I think it's something like:

Denon: £400
Cortex: £230
Mixer: £230
Case: £130

Total: £990?

Nope!

Denon was from Andrew Quinney from another forum, Cortex was from Matt (Spin Mobile Discos) and the mixer was from another forum member on here (really sorry, can't remember who!).
