Last price I heard was a month or so back, so don't know how valid it is now, so won't speculate.
The likes of Scrachworx & DJ Tech Tools all have figues bouncing around but until its in the shops, nothing can be set in stone really.

Hopefully a cheaper version of the SVM will follow as well?

LOL, i'd be heading for divorce if i returned home with one of those. As club kit goes though, this takes it to the next level. The frequency crossfade is something i haven't seen before.

It does indeed, can't wait to see some of the big DJs using this to its fullest!

Effects wise too, it takes things to another level!

I think that I need to win the lottery and quickly. Or perhaps just buy a ticket!

That looks great but i doubt i would ever need it unless i get a club residency. i could get a half decent sound system for that price which is far more important to me.

Does anyone know if the crossfader can be unlinked from the audio and whether it sends midi commands. i.e. for controlling video crossfade on VDJ

The crossfader is assignable, so just un-assign it from all channels, like on any other DJM mixer, and yes, it does send a MIDI signal.

Based on the price of the majority of your equipment, to put it politely, I can't understand why you haven't got purchased an SVM yet

I agree with MaxG in a way (shock horror) but only in the sense that an SVM1000 would be absolutely brilliant in VisualMax's set up, however I think the 5 and a half grand price tag maybe a little offputting

Yep, that was sort of My thought, when you can get a Edirol and seperate sound board for cheaper. But for VJs that use DVDs, It is probably worth considering.

Oh hello you two, as if I need any more encouragement to buy any more kit. I am looking into one at the moment (even though I can't afford it!!!!!). It's hard one because its a shed load of cash and there isn't loads of work on at the moment and two. I don't really need one as I have already got a DJM 800, V4 and a V8 which have shedloads of more video inputs.
