Cluster Laser - which one ??

Now there are many Cluster Lasers (ie Equinox Nebula etc) on the market, which one would you recommend / prefer ???

I use the Equinox Nebula laser, and love it. Never had a problem, and it's very bright. :)

Equinox Sigma

Does everything the Nebula does but adds a whole bunch of patterns under DMX. The 'stars' mode is stunning when used (briefly ;) ) with blue or purple wash for a slow first dance.

Glad you’ve asked this cos I've been racking my brains and am "that" close to buying one (I've had the Equinox nebula - good but just dots so I feel it's limited) - Sigma (Vectis loves this, and must admit its my No 1 choice) and Kam3D in my short-list but by now I'd have expected an ever better one for half the price (always the optimist)

seen the new kam laser last night which had a rgbw led as well to apply a lovely rotating color wash with 3/4 laser cluster effects. either use the easy menu control on back of unit or dmx control fer the clever people. Was really tempting to buy at the offer price on the night and clreating a real room filling effect with out without smoke

Typically the prolight videos are rubbish as are the detail in the specification. What is the beam angle like on this ? Room filler ?

i love the effect though and i am thinking of retiring my KAM 3D for this.

I (and many others) were mesmerised by it at Clive's show on Sunday, and chatting to Clive, it was definitely the 'star of the show'. He sold out of his stock of them and had orders for several more!

It covered a good area (certainly the 'average' dance floor) and the images were nice, clear and smooth.

I'm not usually impressed by lasers, but I did love that one!

EDIT: Just looked at the video, and I wouldn't even recognise it from that!!!!

Looks good, but I dont think I'd want roses and xmas trees on my show :( :( personally (watch the vid) unless these can be controlled by Dmx of course :)

There were some there on Tuesday morning. By 2 pm (when I got there)most of them had gone. (although there was one on the counter in "display mode")

Both excellent room fillers,good coverage

I would suggest that you go and see them at a dj supplies store before you buy.Some of the videos are pants and are not a true reflection on the laser.

tried to order the Equinox Atria Laser - alas nobody has it in stock and they are all quoting April - of course HTFR didn’t - they confirmed over the telephone they would have it Monday/Tuesday...but then once the order was placed...you guessed it.
