Flight Case Sizing

Hi All
been trying to work it out myself as I didn’t want to sound thick but..

I’m after i flight case 10u/12u by 4u
but I’ve been looking at the pictures of some and they doesn’t seem to be a lot of space between the horizontal and vertical racks has anyone had problems with the space and had to get a slightly bigger vertical size and use a blanking plate at the top or is it bigger then it looks

If you need to put 4u of gear in and have anthing thicker than a live mixer (vocal artist type) going on the sloped top you will need a 6 u unit.

I have in my 6u my Denon drawers, 1u radio mic and 1u trancension contol unit and only just have room to squeeze my keyboard under the Denon X900 which is mounted at the front of the sloped top. If I get chance later I will add a picture for you.

i will be having a numark D2,Numark cm200 Mixer and the controller for the numark cdn22mkII mounted on top

saying that i've just realised i could do with the space to put the keyboard so i could've got a 6u and have a 1u drawer but from what your saying i doubt that would fit :(

do you reckon it will all fit in this with the 1u drawer aswell as i wanted the d2 near the bottom and they look quite deep

I have my Denon X900 near the bottom and its really deep. I have 1u shelf above the 4u of gear and the keyboard just squeezes under. I will try and stick a photo on.
