well i took a video clip of them on phone but not great audio
would put some pics on here but the cable police would be out and i am still trying to work out best way to pre wire rig

Yup, stick them up - don't worry about the cable police, we've all been hung, drawn and quartered by them without a trail, so I don't see why you should be any different :D

Agree about the cables and for how long it takes to do them.....just ain't worth it. 1st impressions count and last.

....but I would like to see the light's......well..........it is Sunday not much else to do until 1:30pm. :)

BUT - I think it's very sad that people won't post their pictures on here, simply because they feel embarrassed or ashamed.

Although DmcKaroke, Max and Tony's shows are great - it would be nice to see a "typical" disco for a change. :)

It doesn't but if that's what Flatliners setup resembles, why should he feel like he can't pop a picture up?

I agree, a lot of people I've met from here in real life, feel like they couldn't/shouldn't post photos for fear of having their rigs ripped to pieces because they have a rig which deviates from the standard Goalpost/Booth with with Starcloth, LED/Halogen/movers and Denon/Cortex/Numark/Laptop set up with velcro'd cables and DMX, and I think that is a shame.

I think the point is that the presentation of these shows is definitely above, or significantly above average (or "typical"), while it gives us something to aim for, it's nice to see an "average" (or even different) rig every now and then :D

I agree, and I also agree that people who have messy rigs made up of poorly chosen, badly maintained equipment deserve criticism, but there are a few people who run rigs which are just "different" (i.e. use something other than a starcloth/truss, LED fixtures, etc) but still present their show very well, who are scared to post photos for fear of being struck down for being "different".

Rightly or wrongly (personally I feel wrongly) there seems to be a perception among some forum users that there is pressure for their rig to "conform" to a certain style (starcloth/booth, led/halogen, dmx, denon/cortex/numark/laptop, etc). Personally I don't think it's so much about a stereotype, and more about the standard of show, but that's what I've been told.
