Are these all in the same venue?
If not, how on earth do you manage to pack down and load, travel to next venue, set up and go within an hour (or 2 between the 1st and 2nd)?

Do you not get sick of kids?
Do you have to do the same dance moves, games etc over and over again?
I love kids parties - but one a month is enough for me.
I enjoy variety.

On the average party, I do about four party dances, and I've got a fair range to choose from and I'm still finding new ones. I also enjoy the "entertainer" part of the show, because that's something that you can continually change/add to/re-invent. In fact, being inventive with the games/shows is a major selling point.
I enjoy variety.
I agree with Mr M - I get more sick of doing weddings/family disco's where the same chart & party tunes are trotted out to a bunch of 30/40 something's time and time again. A weekend when I don't get asked for the Macarena or Saturday night is like heaven these days :)

I can think of 12 fairly easily off the top of my head (including some more mainstream/insulting stuff)
Cha Cha Slide
Choco Choco
Fast Food Song
Music Man
Superman
Cartoon Heros (Rik & Nik)
Big Fish
Purple People Eater
Finger Song
Sexy Eyes
YMCA
Agadoo (if you're desperate :D)
Take a look at the John Fowler DVD (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/John-Fowler-Party-Dance-DVD-Vol-1_W0QQitemZ180482880344QQcmdZViewItemQQimsxq201003 21?IMSfp=TL100321126001r12836) (or Rik & Nik (http://rikandnikofficialfanclub.co.uk/process.php?PHPSESSID=ad35891f33d52e5aef7e71c8b1d2 4541&pname=ShowAlbumDetailsProcess-Start&CategoryID=CategoryID&AlbumID=2) if you just want the songs and not the DVD), or just stick "Haven", "John Fowler", "Park Dean", "Butlins" or "Pontins" into YouTube!

Gentlemen:
Well now, what a day it was yesterday (28th March)
As I mentioned I had 3 parties
(10:00am - 12noon) (2:00pm - 4:00pm) (5:00pm - 7:00pm)
My goodness it was awesome!!!! going from one straight to the next is great fun and I was finished/home and unloaded by 7:45pm which to me is fantastic because it is at these times I sit and think of you guys on here whe have just started or about to start your evening (7 - 12 or 8 - 12) with it all to do, and I would like to say that I do admire you for doing the "Grown Up Parties"
I hope your event well as well as my day did guys.
Gotta now get my self sorted for todays party (28th - 11:00am - 1:00pm) and then one more tomorrow (29th - "Morning Madness" - 10:00am - 12noon) then a break until 9th april w'hooooooo!!!!!

*(UPDATE*) - Wow what a party this was today!!!!
50 very very excited children (5 & 6yr olds) but the thing that was really funny was the dads trying to do very quick versions of the party dances just so they could get off and watch the F1!!! that was hysterical.
Another stonker, one more to go tomorrow morning then some serious R&R :beer1: :beer1: :beer1:

Well done again! :)
Out of curiosity, have you ever had a kids party that wasn't absolutely fantastic? If so, what made it slightly below par? (I find that sometimes, knowing what can go less than swimmingly can help people as much, if not more than, knowing what works! ;) )

Hiya Angela, great to hear from you.
I am the first to admit I do not know how come my parties are so good.
All I do is get up there and do my best and give the children what they want and that is total chaos.
I have always found and mentioned on here more than once if you can break the ice and get them laughing you are on to a definate winner.
So in answer to you other question of -
"what made it slightly below par?"
I am sorry Angela I can not answer that one, I just continue to give every party my all and the formula works.
If it did ever happen and I did have a party that was below par I would cretainly post my solutions on here for fellow members.
Best regards

Hiya Buddy,
Many thanks for your kind words.
As far as the sinnature goes, it was Darren Mr Disco himself who suggested the title of consultant!!!
But saying that I have been asked in the past for entertainment ideas from 3 local nurseries so there may be something in it.
Thanks again mate :beer1:
