Having a clearout and have the following for sale:

1 pair of old OHM 3 way 250w speakers (eminence loaded)1x15 + horn + tweeter. Condition: Good £60

1 pair of JBL TR125's. 1x15 + 1x horn. Condition: Very good £130

4x Acme Dynamo 250w scanners complete with 4x power leads, 3x 2m dmx cables & CA-8 control. These have only been used a handful of times & are like new. Also comes with original packaging. £285 no offers.

1x RSQ CDG karaoke player. Has some scratches on the outer casing but otherwise in good condition. £70

Have you checked the lamp? The cheap ELC's from places like ebay are renowned for this.

Yup, avoid Soundlab or non-branded lamps, buy Osram or Philips only - the output from anything is pathetic by comparison.

I guess it's not that then? Hmm, on the electrical side it could be the cable from the power unit to the lamp, or possibly a burnt out relay? On the optical side, dust in the lens or a mis-aligned lamp or gobo wheel? If you run it with the cover off, does the lamp look dark, or does it look as bright as the other Dynamo?

.... definitely wouldn't be a relay, a relay is basically just a switch, it's either on or off..... if a relay goes you get nothing passing through the circuit it is switching. I would guess if it's not a lamp issue it would almost certainly be a transformer or optics problem, if it's a transformer then throw it away and get a new fixture!

.......best thing Rowley would be to buy a pair of these Dynamos from Mr James! :D
