And to think last week you turned down my offer of a superb fully working H and H MA 100 watt amp, recently used for entertaining at Care Homes

Oh Peter this is breaking my heart... I am genuinely getting choked up here!
These WEM columns were the very first pair of cabs I owned, 1979! They were Celestion 2x12" + Compression Horn (Same horns that they fitted in the 70's Orange/ElecroVoice Eliminator Bins) Absolutely cracking cabs.
I later got the WEM 2x15" Bass cabs to go with them but it was my original 2x12's that I remember most dearly. :) :) :) Happy memories! :) :) :)
I used to run them with Orange 120w Valve amps, had 4 in total..

You joke Tone but when these were new they were top notch kit and you would have to go a long way to beat them! :) IIRC the rolling stones late 60's/early 70's Wembley Stadium gigs used these and other WEM cabs dotted all around the arena. They were also used at the early Glastonbury festivals.

Not necessarily the first adjective which sprang to my mind. ;) :p
WEM, Orange, HH, Citronic, names to conjure with. I'm sure I've forgotten other equally respected ones of the time. :o
From the days when we did Discos with 100w Total!!   Oh the status when we got an amp with 100w per side!!!!!!

Takes ye back eh.
I used a Citronic Thames for years and what an awesome bit of kit it was:beer1::beer1: it looked just like the one for sale in the photo (link) with the Garrard decks and worn paint on the faders :o:o:o

My very first deck.... followed by my second deck... followed by my third set-up(Citronic SM440 + Technics SL1200mk2's) and finally what my technics look like today (25years later!) :)

Fairly sure the decks I have gathering dust in the shed have a very similar Citronic mixer in there. 330 probably

Tone...what the hell did you do to that 1200? Its like a little girl putting lipstick on Barbie!
My first decks (which still get alot of active use) were straight onto 1210mk2's, and a Citronic mixer at 15. Figure i may aswell save and get the best instead of hopping up to what i wanted. Now if i used that same principle 5 years later with speakers......
