Hey,
My names Richard I'm an 18 year old student from Ireland and I've signed up to this forum to seek advice in what equipment to purchase for a starting member and to maybe speak to a few new people.
Thanks for reading,
Richard.

Is it ok for me to use this forum even though I'm not in any of the locations asked during registering, I'm from the republic of Ireland and not northern Ireland or great Britain?

Of course it is, it's only that the actual directory doesn't cover Eire. The forum welcomes DJs from wherever. We had one chap from NZ (until he moved over here :sj:), & there are a couple of other Irish (both North & South) on here.
EDIT: I think one of them is also in Dublin.

Oh alright :), Thank god I found this forum I was looking everywhere for some advice but couldn't find anywhere. Hopefully here will be the start of me. Is there any videos of djs djing, theres plenty of them on youtube but I wanted a feel of a different genre of music like perhaps a dj who plays the charts with some old classy songs. I want to know this to be able to know the change in the beat at the end of every song without the songs stopping, if that makes any sense?

Can't tell you off the top of my head whether there's any videos posted on here that will be exactly what you're looking for, but certainly there's plenty of DJs doing what you describe - week in, week out!
Have a browse through the 'Gallery' forum: there's pictures of set ups, but also loads of videos too
PS: Feel free to ask away, btw! :D
