Advertising Template

Not sure if in the correct section :confused:

I am looking to design some jpegs which I can use to advertise my services at the beginning of certain race nights (and maybe at wedding fayres or other means).

I am looking for a suitable template / background (preferably free of course :D :D ). I have not got a clue exactly what I want. Not wanting to pay a lot as not sure if this will work or not. The reason for using jpegs is so I can simply put it on a dvd to play if computer is not in use.

Basically my design skills are limited to say the least. I am wanting a nice background / template which I can simply add text to.

Any ideas ??

Are there any pictures of racecourses or horses in the public domain? I'm a bit tired tonight (long day coming to an end) but I'll have a look for you tomorrow.

The blurb says feel free to use the pics on websites, myspace and blogs so long as you provide a reciprocal link back to this site. Maybe if you found a good pic you could do this and then maybe the site owner will allow you to use your chosen pic as a background. Gotta be worth a try.

have you tried powerpoint as some of there templates are quite good just to use on a screen..
