Anyone taken out an advert or got an experiences worth sharing?

This is not about their website, so please don't post about that. Thanks.

Yes: tried it for a couple / few years (couple of years ago now). Middling results.

Probably would have carried on, except they 'split' the geographical area that we were advertising in in to two separate brochures: effectively doubling the advertising cost (either pay for one, for half the area of before, or pay for two brochures to cover the same area as before), and it wasn't worth it at that price.

Certainly the quality of the enquiries was decent enough (and had a decent conversion rate): just could have done with a greater quantity of enquiries.

This was a while ago now: don't know what they're like now though

Thanks Ang.

Think I might give it a go. The distribution looks good.

it's a good brochure :approve: and, what's more, the staff I dealt with there were all very nice and on the ball.

Definitely worth a go

Are you saying, that if you have a paid listing on the website you also get an add in a magazine.

Andy - ping Oxfordshire Wedding Entertainment Steve Davies (Diddy Davies on here IIRC) as he's had much success with G4B. Maybe he'll impart a few tricks.

Dunno ... GA's having a bit of a paddy this afternoon.

From the last two reports, 9 clicks in 6 months. Extrapolate that how you will but it's not that good :o

Hi Folks,

I haven't advertised in the G4B magazine, i don't do any "paper" advertising. But i do have a premium ad on their website that works really well.

The "secret" with the online listing is to do as the sales girls tell you and use all of the tools in the listing.

Hope this helps.

Steve.
