An alternative centerpiece

I admit to being a little bored with the impossibled ( mines a clone) , it was a great effect when it first came out , now the dots are driving me mad :daft:
I am toying with this idea for a centrepiece.

its a bit different to the usual tunnel and sweep effects , what's your thoughts people

I did have a look at one of these in the flesh and to be honest a halogen effect is way better. They look jerky and not smooth (at least the one I looked at did) I think these have some evolution to do before I would consider one myself. Also remember lasers are pretty disposable when the laser diode goes.

Yeah...

I brought a green laser off eBay a while back...the green diode went within a few months.

I use 2 of these as an entire lightshow, they are fab. One would make a great centre piece however.

I'd say they fit the definition of centrepiece, bur accept that they're LED, so may still suffer from a surfeit of dots.
