CDJ help

Hi all

first post and askin for help already lol

My CDJ100s of 6 years , have started to intermitently jump

and even though this is upsetting it is only to be expected

but after an unpleasant rude " assistant " in the pioneer repair centre i wanted to know what i can do myself , or if a decent repair centre iaround SE london , kent could do it for fair money

he was on about motors and laser pick ups , but was such a git i wondered what else i could do

Have you tried a simple cd lens cleaner?. You can buy them for around 4 quid.

6 years is a long time! I would second Shaun's suggestion, it's bound to be a little dirty in and around the lens now. It may be requiring a bit of service, although the repair expense may be less viable than buying some new decks?
