Why?

I assume *your (http://www.forum.mobilediscodirectory.co.uk/showpost.php?p=427048&postcount=88) using their services?

Crap website but that does not mean allot. If the price is right then perfect!

There is a bloke near me that rents stuff out at next to nothing and the service is excellent.

I'm not using their services but couldn't help noticing their "franchise" offer.

I thought you were working every Friday and Saturday this year? Bit early to be at home isn't it? :sofa:

Back on topic........

Looking at their site... (or sites! LOL... yeah right).....their testimonials are all from 2008 from what I can gather.... so a little bit out of date.

Looking at their whois details too, apparently they are a sole trader

The training we deliver is comprehensive and ongoing, much of it is 1 on 1. The training centres on our 50 module training plan which is carried out both on the job and off the job and our training covers every aspect of running a successful franchise within the XTC family. Most of your training will take place at the weekend ensuring you can complete your training whilst still working. As everyone learns and picks things up at a different rate; our training course is open ended and we will not move forward with launching your franchise until you are at ease with all you need to know and more importantly, we know that you are ready

Hmmmm.... interesting!

If you must feel the need too delve :handbag: :

I have an event cancelled from an agency gig booked a year ago - last min as the woman forgot too inform me.
Been paid in full so spent the night with my girlfriend after taking picks of my mate at my local hotel residency.

Listening too Stevie Ray Vaughn LOUD on my headphones now.

:)

Makes a change from the garbage I normally have too play!

For those not in the no - he's like jimi hendrix but he's white
I wish i could play this stuff at gigs.

Hmmmm.... interesting!

Comment like this would put me off

"We are looking for people who can demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and an ability to share our vision"

Rubbish sales talk IMO - Its a bit like an over sold job for marketing mobile phones or something.

Best bet is too have a sit down meeting with them in person if they still exist.
More likely its a 23 year old called trev still living with his mum. :)

Could you not do most of this yourself?

Tony, your garden needs some soil improver, loads of fetriliser and compost, and I think you've got a drainage problem. ;) :( :( :( :( :(

Back to Charlies OP. XTC was if I'm not wrong owned by someone (Yes I do know them) who went on to sell it around 2 years ago and started up Illuminated events specialising in LED dancefloors , building uplighting , search lights et al. So that could be why things are a little out of date on there.

Ironically illuminated events has been recently sold on to Capability events and I'm hoping now that the ex owner has finally retired ;)

That do you Charlie?
