LED Uplighting

[SC Events]

I have just done a search but can't quite find what i'm looking for...

I am looking for some LED Uplighters (Pars - Chrome/Polished) that I can connect to a DMX controller, such as the Lil Mix, are quite bright and I also want them to work well when on sound to light mode.

...I don't want much :D

I use these ones for Uplighting, you will need to buy stands for the bases however which are £5 each.

I use the PAR56 version, never had any problems with them and nothing but good comments from clients.

LEDJ Colourbursts! Great little units... made my own stands for basic backlighting & colour washes into the crowd =]

I've got a couple of the ones in your first link (Stairville Par 64 10mm) - and they're great - pretty robust, bright, no issues whatsoever.

I use a couple of Stairville PAR 64's the ones with 5mm LED's in I have used them every Friday and Saturday for the last 18 months on small stage were pole dancers have knocked them kicked them over they have been dented and they have never let me down yet. This is just my experience with with stairville cans I can't recommend them enough.

The LEDJ Slimline 229 is fantastic for uplighting use as it has a double yoke bracket, link in/out IEC sockets.

Also, because they have Amber as well as Red, Green and Blue LEDs, not only are they fantastic for colours such as pink, they are also useful for small basic stage lighting (karaoke etc) as they can produce a warmer white for face lighting.

I second that, I be interested to know if the XLR plugs will fit without using right angles plugs when its on the floor point up.

Yes, for the cost they are the best unit I have found to date.

Yes, standard XLR connectors are fine, there is plenty of room underneath for cabling.
