Hi all from Polly the parrot n Creature

new in here and just a few words about us.

Polly normally sits on my shoulder at rallies and when im ridin me bike, she also hangs from the light bar of me disco rig....

im mainly a rock mobil disco, but can cater for othe revents. I have been going for 3 years now and am slowely learning the ropes..

My disco is affiliated with NABD and we also raise funds for them

right hats the boring bit outa the way :) :)

I thought stood for National Association for Bikers with a Disability, dosen't that cover all disabilitys & not just amputees. Ride again is a bit of a misnoma too, they are there to help disabled people ride full stop, regardless of their disability or whether they've ridden before or not.

It's no wonder that the general public has dificulty understanding what NABD does, when their affiliates give out duff info. :confused:

I too was mainly a rock mobile disco til I started hanging around on these forums. Me & me punters loved me red Soundlabs, Maplins lights and 1kW system...

...Now I have a huge sound rig (will be up to 4kW when the Class D's turn up tomorrow), a laptop, intelligent lights, lasers, PLI, PAT testing --- and find myself out most weekends earning twice as much £££ for one night as I used to get for a whole weekend bike rally, plus work starting to come in for band PA provision...
