Just thought I would say hello. I discovered this forum about a month ago and have been hooked since then. It's only now that I have plucked up the courage to introduce myself.

Everyone seems very friendly and enthusiastic.

Quick bit of info about myself: I have been DJ ing since before some of you were born! (over 25 years).

Based in south west Scotland, covering all types of functions from 18th Birthday parties to golden weddings.

My brother also DJs and it's good to share ideas with him, also very interesting to hear your take on things.

Basic list of equipment: EV speakers
Studiomaster amp
Laptop, running PC DJ dex
2 x Par 64 Leds
Abstract Twister ( I know, I've had it a few years)
Equinox Dualize
Mirrorball

I am looking at changing the sound system to the Mytek 210 in the near future and also adding a few new lights.

If you need to quote people there is a quote button on the bottom right hand side - hit that and it will qoute who you want. I fixed you're last one. :) V
