morning all,

i picked up some par cans yesterday - long nose 300w lamp style - thought it was for 4, but turned out to be 16 :) , plus trussing, stands and cabling.

question now is - has anyone any ideas of how to make money off them on a regular basis?

i will continue to use them for complimenting uplighting and bigger lighting events, but im wondering about hiring them out for people, per gig, or to bands or venues etc?

i could rig up say, 2 t-bars of 4 cans plus controllers quite easily.

is there a market for this kind of thing? and what would be a reasonable price?

If they are the old style lamped versions you can't give the buggers away. I have eight I have tried to sell and got offered buttons for them.

They are unfortunately from a by gone age. LED has taken that market.

Mine get used very rarely as the NJD Quartets do the same job.

How many buttons do you want? I could dig out quite a few buttons, brand new ones (still in the little plastic bags they come stapled to the inside of clothes in)...?
