Hi Chaps

Back on line with a nice new laptop. Vista on the old machine had a total meltdown killed everything. Most of my data recovered by our IT man at work thankfully.

Old machine is to be reformatted and have just XP installed on it ready to be used as a lighting controller.

Have Windows 7 on the new machine and autobackup to external drive.

Speaking of hard drive failure and backup! I did backup my hard drive....only for the main drive and back up drive to both fail on the same day, 2 months later and I'm still trying to pick up the pieces. I've had the hard drives to 2 different data recovery specialists and they've both said the data is unrecoverable. It's been an absolute catastrophe.
