Hey guys...

This bargain seems too good to be true...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Lexlighting-Lexsweep-1-DJ-DISCO-LIGHT-Lighting-LED-LED-/320528843549?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_ConElec_LightingLEDsStrobes_RL&hash=item4aa102031d#ht_1128wt_939

My question is.... does anyone use Lexlighting units?? I was thinking of getting two of these for my small rig... one either side angled inwards....

Your views??

Looks alright though the video camera is very close-up to the light so you can't really see how good this light is from a distance and I can't understand why they've not added a picture of the actual fixture.

for that price I doubt it will be anything but sound to light. Personally I'd keep your cash in your pocket.

But it does state "Full DMX" on the video. And in the product spec on the company website:

http://www.lexlighting.co.uk/index.php?page=shop.product_details&product_id=73&flypage=flypage.tpl&pop=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=68

Must admit this has me wondering how this ebay guy is selling them for half-price. Even if they are just a modern twist on the old-style "derby" effects.

EDIT:
Just noticed that these guys only sell to retailers. So the £79 price is not the price we'd expect to pay and it doesn't include VAT!

It does happen. I bought a pair of Virusators at half their previous price. Good deal. But not as good as it would have been if I'd waited, when they were halved again, till the stock was gone.
