And to any newbies, please be aware that from what I can see in the pictures, in the main, this is not top end gear. Also while there's lots of kit, it's not really a big rig sound wise. Looks like it's been installed in a pub/club that's gone under. :(

At £102 though, you've got to believe it's a steal. Guesses on final price? I reckon £250-£300.

A roughly equivalent model appears to be over £400 new. I could be wrong, of course.

I tried to make it as clear as possible.....even used different coloured fonts to differentiate between username including date, and (avoiding) any inference regarding Robs' comfort or medical status ;)

Surely to goodness, that amount of kit is worth way more split up, than as a whole. :confused: Anyone who got it for around £300 could surely cherry pick an odd item for themselves, and turn the rest over for a couple of quid profit? ;) :D :D

I bought two of the mobile dancer lights (pre-owned) for £75 each. Personally, I think I overpaid as they are not worth that but others might think different. They are a gobo effect bounced off several angled mirrors. They are dmx with 150w bulbs so are quite bright. I cannot find them on line but they are called "Mobile D Series Mobile Dancer". I also have the Mobile Spirals too. In with this package, at Peter's final estimate, though, could be a really good deal.

Just found the light online by searching the model number and the maker is shown as "ACME" although there's no indication of this on my light. :confused:

There is an awful lot of tackle there.....it looks like the leads alone could be worth a fair bit!!

Still we don't know what is going to go for yet!!

It's quite clearly a debt collection company who know very little about equipment.

Instead of saying "many lights" - they could of hyped up the fact this package includes 4 scanners, strobes, par can's etc.

That alone should go for £150/200. "Complete lighting rig"

Any "normal" debt collector would use an auction house, not ebay.

I'm only really interested in the lights and mixer though to be honest and they could alone be worth what the whole package goes for in the end, leaving me some spares.

I would have thought seller would have gone into more detail about the outputs of the rig soundwise. Does anyone recognise the sound system from the awful image?

I'd ask the seller but i dont think i'd get anywhere!

If it's the old model of the ones I linked to, 300 a side at 8ohms, 500 at 4ohms. That's a good size.

Well it's the cabs only really, cos as far as I can see the only amp is the Studiomaster. The Wharfedales are reasonable cabs, The Carlsbro's are adequate for smaller gigs, and the 10" ones are monitors. Nothing to get excited about, but great value if you wanted spares/backup/cheap small hire kit.

Charlie, the Mobile Dancer lights are not scanners. Whilst they might look the same build as the Dynamo effects, they are not the same effect. They work using a series of mirrors fitted together in a curved shape which simply spins round. It's nothing more than a kind of back and forth mirror ball effect. They don't scan, though. I thought they did when I first saw them which is why I bought them. I was wrong! :(

Saying that, for a beginner though, they are not a bad disco effect, are quite bright and have a range of gobos and colours. They are probably worth a couple of hundred on their own (ie for the set of 4).

I'm only really interested in the lighting (excl the light boxes!!). Seems to be a hell of a lot of kit and its not far from me. I thought I'd ask you guys as whilst I know basics about lighting I could do with a second opinion from an expert
