Is it possible to get a flight case that can hold an amplifier and mixer with a laptop shelf that also has enough space inside to hold an external HD, Wireless Mic receiver and PCtoTV box?

I don't know where to start looking... I've found these on ebay:

but doesn't look like there's access to the front of the amp or enough height to hold the other bits.

Pah!! Mixer, Radio mic, CD Drive, Hard Drive, Keyboard, Cortex and peripherals. ;) Now that's a Man's case.;) :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Yeah. Built the first one as an all-in-one. Great idea, cut set up time drastically.

Sadly it was a two man lift, and I couldn't get it through a door on my own!!!!! :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

I'm now embarling on the Mk7 version. :D :D

That is one big flight case. Think about weight.

It's not that heavy. I can easily carry all those things in one lift, just think it would be easier and neater in a case.

Just a thought but why not use some kinnda trolley to wheel your nice big flightcase in? Or even still, secure 4 heavy duty wheels to the bottom of the flightcase to minimise the heavy load? I'm sure there'll be someone at the venue to help you lift te whole unit up into your rig in return for a free :beer1: for them :D ;)

I try to look on the positive side of setting up and breaking down. Namely it saves doing weights in the Gym.

It really is a balance between set up time and weight though and different folks will have different requirements.

Weight doesn't bother me. I use Class D's
