I hate the heat.

It makes me sweat buckets & also seems to drain all the energy out of me.

I'm washing the van at the moment...and I'm soaked through with sweat.

Looking forward to a nice cold shower later.

Thank heavens I'm not working tonight!

It's a gorgeous, beautiful, warm and sunny day here in Scotland. I love it, no complaints from me :D

I don't tolerate the heat well myself, staying out of it today, and I don't complain when it's cold or wet either - although the last winter was a bit too extreme!

I would prefer it if I wasent working tonight in my local pub. Beer garden outside has 100 seats and a huge lawn and it will be me and one other person working ... urgh.

I can't explain why it bothers me so much.

D'oh! Should've said - I've been gardening most of the day with a few tinnies on hand. I'm sure I could've spared a couple :) And I'm only a couple of miles from Shanklin.

(and I'd even forgive the spelling of Wight ;) )

Ahhh, this I can now handle.

I'm outside in my shorts after having a cancellation from a last minute booking (yesterday)

BBQ with the Grandmother later on then going out with friends.

Correct.

Other things are more imporant.
I'm alive - just.
I can walk.
I can see.
I'm in good health - could do without the odd Kebab....granted.
I've no got cancer - Not a dig just a comment and I don't want to offend. :)
Spent a good day in the pool with the kids and had a good afternoon with the sun out and a bar'b'que.

Life is good. :) for me anyway.

Last nights gig was so humid and stuffy it was absolutely horrible working in those conditions, being in a conservatory didn't help matters. Sat here at home just now with the Air Con blowing a nice chilly breeze. Ahhh Bliss!

Methinks Charlie won the auction! It's about time he cancelled the standing order though. :D

Well another thread rises in true Lazarus style, because I thought the title was spot on. How our weather nowadays seems to get stuck in patterns for a long time,eh? Fairly soggy round here, and Saturday's marquee wedding just cancelled, cos there ain't gonna be no Marquee!! Venue ( field ) flooded. Hey ho. :(

miserable isn't it.

I had one on Saturday that went ahead but, on my drive in to early set up, the nearby river was at the roads edge....another inch or two and it would have been impassable. The surrounding fields were under a good foot or so of water as far as the eye could see. As it was I had some degree of fun clearing large puddles off country lanes on the drive home at 1am...

Having an event in a Marquee in November sounds a bit dodgy--I just got called about something for January in one--I told them straight---inside a Building or forget it--

I believe they decided to have it inside--insane really considering recent winter weather in uk.
