Advertising for a roadie....How??

Hey guys,

I had a lovely night off last night and decided to go out for a few drinkies with the other half....

During the evening, he revealed that he's getting pi:Censored: :Censored: :Censored: d off with being my 'roadie' .... and he's getting bored through the night.

So it got me thinking..... I need to find / employee a roadie!!

I generally only use my roadie for private parties and for setting up and setting down ... as my resident pub gigs are pretty easy and I usually have plenty of time to setup/get ready etc...

So my question is ..... where do I advertise?? Gumtree? Local paper? my website??

How would you guys advertise?

I'd suggest that before advertising you gen up on employment law, PAYE, the additional insurances etc. before deciding whether it's worth going ahead.

Find someone thats willing to learn the ropes of a DJ, that way you a get roadie and in return teach someone how to make a success of the business in a professional manner. :)

A poster in the local newsagents? Gumtree? something like that maybe, I'm sure a young lad would rather be out with a DJ than doing a paper round no?

family friends offspring , siblings, worked for me for a year, before they went off to uni, £15 a night and a couple of half's of lager.
