Warrior PSR8a

Anyone use the warrior PSR8a for disco use ?? I have a couple I use for Race Nights, ceremony music etc. However I am contemplating using them as tops with a couple of bass bins.

I am looking to use the Ultimax accesory horns to hold the speakers and maybe to 'hide' the subs.

Think it will look neat and compact but not sure if the warriors will be suitable for disco use.

Anyone had any experience of this ??

I like you mainly use them for PA work although I have also used them for a kids disco and as satelite speakers in another room from the main disco when used inconjuntion with the LD systems wats2

I had some demoed for me and while fine for talking work I would have doubts as to how well they would perform in a disco enviroment.

i have a set and sometimes use them with the rcf 310a and not a bad sound

i have a pair and have used them with db subs,using the high pass out.

did the job ok,just got the feeling a little more headroom would have been nice.

I've got a pair I use for quiz and PA work, and I have used them for a disco before in a small room (think, 20' square). In most venues I go to, I think they'd melt - even with a Sub. :)
