Its taken me 2 days to get this all up and running but my new blog is now finally online.

http://www.premier-event-services.com/blog

I'm planning on updating this on a weekly basis with updates from the weekends gigs just gone and usefull articles about uplighting, dance floors etc.

Fingers crossed this should boost my SEO also for the dance floor side of things as that area is not performing that well at the minute!

Any feedback much appreciated.

It asks for a username and passoword You have to click cancel before you can access it, bit off putting IMO.

Interesting, I hadnt spotted that. Does anyone know why that might be?

htaccess restriction (cPanel web protect) on a folder: -

http://premier-event-services.com:2082/viewer/home%2fpremiere%2fpublic_html%2fimages/Me.jpg

This is actually because that URL is as if it was being viewed via cPanel (port 2082). Change it to: -

http://premier-event-services.com/images/Me.jpg

You haven't noticed because you'll have your browser set to remember your cPanel username / password...so it doesn't prompt you.

It was the picture that was causing the login request - it's OK now.

I have never had such a stress sorting out a website than I have had with WordPress, I spend 4 hours last night trying to figure out permalinks before managing to do something wrong, delete the old blog and had to start it all over again today!

At least its sorted now - thanks
