Speaker Poles

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend the cheapest place to get speaker poles?
I was thinking of using the bass bins with the DB Tech actives for smaller parties. The DB Techs are actually fine on their own but the bass bins help fill out the sound a bit more.

Someone said to me ages ago that you can dismantle some speaker stands and use the uprights for poles. I have spare stands so wondered if anyone else has done that so I can save some money or is it worth just getting the proper poles?

You can get the proper poles for under £20 from ebay so probably not worth bothering with trying to dismantle speakers stands
