At last I've got a Van!

Just thought I'd let you know that I now have a van found it via Autotrader website!

A 56 plate Renault Trafic, in Silver with full electrics, aircon 44,000miles and full service history ;)

Came from a refrigeration company local to me so I've spent this morning peeling off the couple of stickers that were on it.

After months of trying to get a new van I ended up going down the secondhand route. I was finding I couldn't get finance as I'm not VAT registered but in the end this turned out better as it was sold as private sale with NO vat :D

I won't post any pics as it looks pretty much like a Silver Renault Trafic, however watch this space as it will be getting sign written / wrapped in the very near future. Not sure what route to go down yet but the company doing it are knocking up some designs and emailing them over so that should be happening in the next week or so.

And the biggest bonus??

The Deckstandbooth can make it's debut on Saturday night ;)

I bought a berlingo for £475! the other day.
expecting it too be rubbish its a great van!! Much better than the trailer.

Im looking at putting my trailer proceeds to setting up a boi diesiel production
unit in my garage which should make my fuel costs about 15p a litre!!

I would check on wear and tear with bio-diesel and engine play......could cost you a fortune in the long run. :)

I have a guy who is proper geeky about it. he knows everything and runs a local forum and meet on it. He is helping me set up the system. he says that its better than the commercial bio stuff if done proerly, lubricates the engine better and burns better increasing mpg.

should be fun! Ive got a degree in aqaucultural engineering so should not be too difficult. Really looking forward to turning waste cooking oil in to cheap fuel :D

If it works im ditching my subaru and getting one of these (diesel of course) as im still missing my spider now the sun is out (3 years on).
The money i save on fuel justifys the purchase in my eyes :o

Have not dared look at the price but i went to a merc garage yesterday (not a sales one) and had a little gander (positive thinking like waynes world - she will be mine)

Yes, I understand that. :)
I'm on about bio-diesel rots fuel pumps...and anything that is rubber to do with the fuel lines. If you don't get the mixture right it will also knacker you DPF filter as well.....which is rather exspensive.

Engines tend to run better if bio was used from brand new....just hints and tips. :)

Been in the trade 20yrs so do know a bit about bio fuel. :)
