I have 3/4 bookings every month (more in December) expect June , where I have a big fat zero :( , oh well thats the way it goes

June is quiter for me than July and August where as usually those 3 months are of equal business. I'm sure that the world cup has something to do with it, I have had to turn quite a bit of work down for the days when England play due to not having enough DJ's that want to work it (myself included)!!!

Not worth trying to compete with the world cup as pubs and clubs (like my local) do well on those nights without entertainment

June 2 wedding gigs for me and 1 corporate awards dinner dance party (after a week off beginning of june)

september 2 gigs

november 1 gig

December 1 gig.

June is full for us now after getting a late booking for the 5th. We're working the World Cup games with pre-match entertainment all the footie songs, giving out whistles, horns, hats, wigs and all sorts as well as doing face painting.

One is on the 12th which is the first England game, not going to get much dancing till gone 10pm I suppose? :( Hope we win, it'll be a great atmosphere if we do... straight in with Three Lions!! :)

Well unless a good job comes along . I will take the opportunity to strip everything down , give everything a good clean , take those last bits of gaffa tape of the speakon cables etc , probably get the PAT out of the way as well , I do find that events this time of year are a little strange , mainly because it does not get dark till gone 9:30/10:00pm , the lights become a bit pointless before then , plus there seems to be an ever growing list of house hold things to do , sort the garden out ( my wife says there is more chance of sewing a zip on fog :D ).

:bang: Going to miss 2 of the England games though, however will be phoning the Wednesday 23rd June Client to inform them the England match is on and are they aware of this.

It's a Year 6 Disco so they may change it to the Tuesday, I'm not too fussed but would rather have kids to entertain than not!
