Where did you buy from in the end John?

Electromusic In Doncaster. I couldnt get a brand new one because RCF are discontinuing the art705 and replacing that model with the

Sub705as. (700w rms instead of the ART705's 800w RMS)

I tried a few shops (including decks.co.uk) who didnt have any in stock and wouldnt be getting any.

But doncaster had 2x ART705s on display. I asked him if he could get me a brand new one but they cant. So he said i can let you have one of our display models for £699.99. Not bad really. So thats been delivered tommorow.

Nothing according to that then!

The new one must be lighter?

Twinspin

from what ive read in a detailed overview on both.

ART705 AS

100w more powerful than the Sub705

SUB705-AS

17kg lighter than the ART705 (at 20kg) (the art705 is 37kg) and a digital amplifier

or the sub718as (18")

I think you may have got that wrong John - it says 32Kg not 20Kg.

i got it was 20kg from this site here (check to the right of the picture)

but other sites are saying its heavier than that... and some sites are saying its heavier than the art705

RCF would certainly sell a lot if they were 20 kilos in weight !
