Polishing Ultimax

The uprights and overhead of my Ultimax rig could do with a :Censored: good clean and polish, I realise it's galvanised steel and just wondered if there were any hints, tips, products or ways in which you get the best results?

I've used them both on our steam engine, which has every kind of metal going on it... and never had a problem.

I bought my ultimax second hand, and the uprights were disgusting!!! I would of never gigged them in the condition I bought them in... rank!

Hot soapy water and green brillo with copious amounts of elbow grease bought them up a treat :)

I used Peek on mine once. Worked ok.

Brown sauce is good.

The problem is no matter how hard you buff it up (ooer) it still stinks :p

Not sure if brand matters but we only have HP in our house :D None of that Daddies nonsense.

Autosol works great, watch your polishing cloth turn black when you buff up...

800 grade sand paper, then metal polish works just fine.
