Can anyone suggest a good supplier of replacement LED's.
I have a LEDJ 3x2m starcloth and some of the LED's need replacing. I have looked on the Prolight website but they have none listed.
Any ideas are much appreciated.
Thanks.

Any electrical supplier should have them, e.g Radio Spares or even Craplins. Just check the specs before you buy.

Failing that search for cheap led strings etc can be picked up for a couple of quid used for christmas lights etc. A quick go with the soldering iron and you can desolder them for use.

These are the same LED's which are garunteed to last 100,000hrs or something stupid ? The reason everyone is buying them because they last forever unlike bulbs ?

Depends on usage--if its Mobile Disco they are going to get a good kicking--hence the reason for short term failures I suspect---if left in situ and never moved light a domestic light they may well last a lifetime;)

The starcloths go out on hire quite a lot, so do get move about regularly.
I also need the little fixings that hold them in place in the curtain. They are like little plastic washers. I will give some of the starcloth dealers a call on Monday, just thought someone on here may already of had this problem.
Thanks for the replys.

If you contact Prolight directly they will sell you some, not cheap but at least you know you are getting the correct LED's

Do you have a phone number for them. I have sent them an email, but I prefere to deal with people on the phone if I can.
I couldn't see a telephone number on their website.
Thanks.

The last for ever more or less if people don't step on them.
The problem with star cloths is the fact that 9/10 people fold them up after a gig and the internal wires can only take so much of that behaviour. Try rolling star cloths up instead of folding.

That is exactly what I do with my S&H. ;)

Thanks for the replys.
It's not just the led's I need, but also the little clips that hold them to the curtain.
I will give them a call now.
Thanks again.
