Anyone used these for cable ties ??

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BAG-96-BLACK-RAPSTRAP-10mmx300mm-REUSABLE-CABLE-TIE-/280493136908?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item414eb19c0c

I currently use the normal releasable cable tie but hard to come across and wondered if these were any use.

The listing states they are reuseable, which is a bit misleading...as the only bit that can be reused is the bit which you cut off after securing something with them.

I remember these from Dragon's Den a few years ago. Some of the Dragon's couldn't see their appeal and thought why bother when you've got cable ties but they have found a market with industrial and agricultural uses. Not sure of their appeal in the entertainment industry, though. They are meant as a permanent fastening rather than a temporary measure.

Then again, if you are going to pre-wire a T-bar or something like that then I suppose they could be useful. Cable ties are much cheaper, though.
