DJ Lil' Mix or Similar

Hi All,

Now I have ventured into LED Uplighting, I am after a DMX Controller to make it all work! :D

So, has anyone got a LEDJ Lil' Mix Controller or similar controller for sale? It is to control Stairville Par 56 Cans

I had a Chauvet Stage Designer 16 DMX Controller, but recently sold it as it was too big and I didn't have the time to sit down and learn how to use it as it was (Well I thought it was :D) quite complex.

Now I might be wronng (and I'm sure someone will point it out :p ) but the starvilles are 5ch DMX and the lil' mix is a 4ch Controller so won't work together.

The RGB channels are on 2,3 and 4. So the 1st and 5th isn't used for anything thats critical to the use. :D

I can confirm that the Lil mix controller will not work with the Stairville Par Cans, I purchased it to control them and it would only allow me to make them go yellow, blue or flash randomly. You would either need to sell your Stairville cans and buy the LEDJ par cans or go the DMX controller route and program your own patterns in. I went with the LEDJ par cans and they are WAY better than the Stairville cans in terms of brightness and useablilty. I actually don't really need my LIl mix now coming to think of it as you can link the LEDJ cans via DMX and the inbuilt controller outputs DMX.

You can set which channel changes red, green & blue (and master if your can use this) so is compatible with any type of LED par can.

I have just bought a Chauvet Obey 3 for my LED cans and it cost 29 quid. BUT the fixtures have to be capable of switching to 3 channels instead of 5 as it is only a 3 channel controller.
Not sure whether the Stairville cans do this, the pulse ECO ones do.
