Well I didn't get the time that I wanted to be able to post daily but here is the pictures from the event over the weekend.

The next day... Oh what a lovely marquee and also my bedroom for the weekend (the caravan!)
http://www.ptwnparties.com/botolphgreen/2010/P1000594.JPG

One of the more important parts of the weekend is taking shape nicely!
http://www.ptwnparties.com/botolphgreen/2010/P1000595.JPG

Alot of chairs waiting to be setup for the football on Saturday.

Out sparky having fun running cables up and down the marquee.

This is where the disco and big screen will be setup on the Satuday.

Thought I would drop this in for our sparky who does an amazing job all free of charge.

Bedroom.

Second most important piece of the weekend to the bar - a sky dish!
http://www.ptwnparties.com/botolphgreen/2010/P1000605.JPG

We put tarp over the end of the marquee to prevent the light outside effecting the projector picture in the marquee. Starcloth inside would of costed £2000. One sheet of agricutural tarp costed £40 :D .

Haha the bar is now taking shape. Not long now!

So it's now the Saturday of the weekend and my helping hand who should be unloading the equipment onto the stage hasen't turned up. I only got a couple of frantic photos as I was essentially doing everything!
http://www.ptwnparties.com/botolphgreen/2010/P1000611

More equipment on stage being setup. This was 9:30am.
http://www.ptwnparties.com/botolphgreen/2010/P1000612

Whoop the amazing van which had been lent to us for the weekend for the equipment.
http://www.ptwnparties.com/botolphgreen/2010/P1000613

I wasent able to get any more pictures until the first act was on - Nicole Lawrence. There was several issues during the last photo and this one. First off I took a turn for the worse and had to visit the loo every 5 minutes. During this period we discovered that several channels on the multicore that we were using were not working for still an unknown reason. This was not handy with me having to constantly run off. Finally at 12:15 we had an output from a very nive wireless SM58 and a working CD player running through a Souncraft LX7 mixer.

I was so happy and greatful to Nicole as I thought I would of took a mouthful after telling her that we had no fallback monitors or reverb. But no happy as Larry she says 'It's ok, I'll just wall around of stage in the crowds    . She was so understanding it was great and I could of kissed her!

It was quite funny when she started her first number as I cued the CD up and pressed play when she was ready. There was a faint noise from the cabs and then nothing. Nicole carried on singing with no instrumental music behind her. Me and another person who helped me through the day with the mixing were franticly pressing alll buttons wondering whats was happening. Then there was a large bang from the cabs and we realised that the first part of the song was supposed to be an acapella!!! You could see Nicole grinning at us as we took a nice deep breath.

The photo below is during her last number which was Florence and the Machine version of You've Got The Love. She was great and grabbed a young lad to sing with her which was really nice.
http://www.ptwnparties.com/botolphgreen/2010/P1000615

This was the band for the day called Blue Canvas. They were a local band who played mainly blues stuff which was really nice. We managed to have all the system up and running by this time - monitors and all!
http://www.ptwnparties.com/botolphgreen/2010/P1000617

So this was inside the marquee as we started letting people in for the football. The projector equipment, sky equipment and Bose system you can see were all provided by an AV company. The disco in the corner was a colleague of mines. You can see from the roof of the maruee how effective the tarp was on top of the marquee.
http://www.ptwnparties.com/botolphgreen/2010/P1000618

Oh look at the wires! This was behinfd the decks on the evening. Again none of this equipment is mine but was organised by me :P.
http://www.ptwnparties.com/botolphgreen/2010/P1000620

During the game.
http://www.ptwnparties.com/botolphgreen/2010/P1000621

The disco setup.
http://www.ptwnparties.com/botolphgreen/2010/P1000627

Finally time to put my feet up, have a beer and chill! That's me in the middle with a couple of friends. This was just after the match and when the disco was all up and running.
http://www.ptwnparties.com/botolphgreen/2010/P1000634

After a very messy night and setting up about one hour late, the first band for the afternoon played. They are called Second Drove and play covers of new and old bands. They are a really good band. Luckily, everything decided to work and to solve the issue of two of the four monitors not working, the band had there own in ear monitoring solution which made everything so much easier.
http://www.ptwnparties.com/botolphgreen/2010/P1000637

Oh my lovely mixing desk.
http://www.ptwnparties.com/botolphgreen/2010/P1000638

That's about it for the photos of the weekend. Let me know what you think and feel free to ask questions etc.

Cheers

Thanks for uploading. Looked like a good weekend but the bands didn't seem very popular.

You must have been kept busy with that lot:)

The bands were quite busy - where they were positioned on the second day, the green went back quite far so people didn't really sit at the front as it was quite loud!

Glad someone has looked through the pics and yes it was a very good weekend thanks!
