Im looking for a new amp to power two 300watt speakers.

Thanks

Are the cabs 8ohms, or 4ohms? 300 watts RMS, Program. or peak?

If the speakers are 8r, definitely not - this amplifier is grossly underpowered at 250w/ch/8r
If the speakers are 4r, it is still not ideal as it only delivers 300w/ch
You want an amplifier that delivers 1.5 to 2.0 times the RMS of the load

Others of not dissimilar value are available, but this one does exactly what it says on the tin.
http://www.behringer.de/EN/Products/EP2500.aspx Bulletproof apparently.
http://www.chemical-records.co.uk/sc/servlet/Info?ref=gbase&Track=KXR1500 I've got one. Basic but reliable.
http://www.bluearan.co.uk/index.php?id=WARAMP18&seeimage=YES&img_name=AMP18 See above.
That's a quick run down of the cheap and cheerful ones that are known to be generally reliable, and capable of delivering the output they promise.
