Next a new mixer...

Thanks to this forum I finally setled on the JBL JRX 115's and a KAM 1500W amp as part of my new set up. I'm now in the market for a new mixer. The Behringer made a funny noise when I moved one of the sliders last night and, while it's just about still in warranty, I figured it's time to replace it with something more reliable and get it repaired to use as a back up.

The Behringer I use at the moment is the 1204FX, we need reverb for the karaoke, so I'm looking for something similar but more reliable/better sound/etc.

Budget is probably £200-£300.

So far I've seen a Yamaha MG124CX which looks ok, but would appreciate any advice on here. (Are Alesis a similar standard to the Behringer?)

I would get your old mixer repaired under warranty you can then sell it or use it for back up.

I've just looked on whybuynew and seen that you can filter by mixer features one of which is "sampling" yet none of the mixers returned mention this in their spec.

Is this a common feature on mixers?
