View Full Version : What to replace it with....?

Hi all ive got a revo 2 and by all means its a great light BUT it just seems to over power everything, now im in the situation to make a choice to either sell it and get somehting in the similar price range to replace it with (LED or not) or to save some cash up and replace it as my main centre peice on NON childrens gigs

Im now sat here in two minds as like i say i do like the light BUT i just feel its abit too much, now whether this is just because my dynamos are the 100watt version (even though they seem brighter and can do ok) or is it too much, this is were id like some advice on what to do

Stuck in a rutt as i like it and dont want to sell but if i can sell and replace with something as good but less over powering i think id be very happy.

Before i pop this in the FOR SALE section it is basically brand new with no marks or anything on it, i think i have the original box but will have to see :)

Please help lol if you would like this revo to buy PM me but again this isn't a FOR SALE bid its a help me please section :)

Hmmm thats one possibility, aslong as its not over powering like the revo is :(

I to have the 100w Dynamos and whilst they aint bad, they are still underpowered compared to the likes of my Pumas (250w).

The MiracLED holds its own with the Pumas but what i think would set it apart from the Revo 2 for you is that the coverage is different. I wouldnt go as far as say less coverage, but it is more linear...

Yeah just watched a few videos ofthe MiracLED and it does seem a cool light so i will deffo keep that one in mind :)

Now to sell the revo lol ;)

Unfortunatly not :( it was somehting i was looking into but never actually got round to buying one just for that as i use a large plastic storage box with foam lining in to hold that and my littleds and its ideal ;)

How much are Revo 2s coming in at now. I have a spare MiracLED complete with proper Protex case which i may consider a p/x with... ;)
