Well Ive just handed my notice into the day job....................

Going to go full time, currently working on the site (well getting professionally done) now just working on gaining work but mainly filling in mid week dates!

Any tips or stories from the full timers would be good :D

Yes go for it i have been full time for over 40 years and i am rubbish and the best of luck.

See I thought that and maybe the thread title suggests otherwise but Im just working on several areas that need improvement and Im really positive about the future at the moment.

Good luck to you, I did the same thing about 18 months ago not only am I alot happier but so is my wife not having to come home to a bad tempered husband working for a :Censored: company. I have also been able to concentrate on the business and the service/services I offer my clients.

I agree with Jeff, I started by offering an MC service if you've got a decent suit it shouldn't cost you anything set up but can bring in extra money

Best of luck and well done for taking the plunge.
I noticed that as soon as I made the decision and quit the job I hated, my life improved.
You will be able to put everything into what you are doing and reap the rewards and although it may be a bit daunting at first having to rely on bookings coming in....it won't be long before you are wondering why you didn't do it sooner.

The thing that you have going for you is that you have already been doing the job for a while, have the equipment etc etc. All you need to do is start getting more and more bookings and away you go.

Its not likely that people are going to come rushing onto here telling you what a bad mistake it was to go full time!!!I would think nearly 1/2 of the regular posters on here are part-time and if it were that easy we'd have probably made the same decision years ago......

Feet on the floor time....it's not going to be easy....;) ;)


However...your posts suggest you are an UP kind of Guy and if I were to back anybody on the Forum to do it ....you would be one of the main ones...:) :) :) :)

Since Ive made the choice to go full time most of my time is spend working on areas that require attention and also looking at how to expand further in regards to filling up dates etc...
