Yes I know I can use a 3m Goal post, but this looks much neater and breaks down quite small. 3 Piece bar!

you could buy 2 metal thin speaker stands and buy 2 ultimate straight bars that and option mate

Why not just get maplins goal post, but one use one pole for the cross bar? and oll you have is 4 bits to carry?

I have a Maplins 3m Goalpost but I know you might find this hard to believe, :D but it is so well made and heavy and doesn't break down very small. One of the truss bars is 1.5m and won't easily fit in the Zafira, hence the need for one of these babies.

Please don't suggest buying a van. I've been down this road before... :bang:

FYI buddy, I used a photographer's backdrop stand... it's got a telescopic horizontal pole so can hang the starcloth in any width from 1-3m...more adaptable than fixed 3x1m sections. (Spend some time spacing the ties and it still drops and looks nice.)

I have looked at the telescopic ones and they tend to have the crossbar made from lightweight aluminium and can only carry a maximum weight of 5kg.

Other types on offer have a 3 part steel crossbar and I would imagine they would carry a lot more weight - I can't find the max weight these carry.

The NJD 2m x 3m weighs in at 8.5kg according to CPC

I would be tempted to go for the steel type crossbar.

I've a 3x2m stand made from two lighting stands and some old speaker stand legs / uprights for the horiziontal bit. The horizontal bar disassembles into 3 pieces. The advantage of this is the horizontal 3m hanging pole has hanging pegs along it's length so, if your looking to use a cloth with eyelets like mine has (and not velcro loops) it's just a case of hanging each eyelet on a peg to hang the cloth. It takes 5 minutes to hang.

With my optional DIY welded brackets I can also modify the setup so I can hang a starcloth, 3 scanners (properly vented) and 2 Impossibleds from just two lighting poles. Any body interested in a piccy, just let me know.
