External Hard Drive problem.

Hello,

Just a little question, i have a 500gb External hard drive, and have only ever used it on Macs, and its worked fine. Today, i tried to use it on my Windows PC and it would let me? No icon showed in 'My Computer' however the laptop kind of recognised it was there (made the bleeping noise when i inserted and removed the USB)

Is there something i'm doing wrong? or can i not use it with both Windows and Mac OS

Needes to be formatted in FAT32 and not Mac OS Extended (No Journaling) or windoz wont recognise it.

You can if you had the drive formatted to FAT32. :)
