Do you have one? How do you rate them, I can't convince myself they're worth the money?
Am I wrong? ..

Can recommend ToDo, FasfFinga, Photo Transfer, GoodReader and my favourite Color Splash - trying to hold back on spending on too many apps as they can be expensive - sure they will start to be more competitive - although one called Bruce Lee Dragon warrior HD is currently only 59p and a real bargain for a fighting game.
Fancy an art program soon - Brushes maybe

I have one. Worth the money? probably not but it's nice nonetheless.

Cheers for that. I grabbed The Bruce Lee App earlier today. Not a bad little game for 59 pence. The apps do seem more expensive than the iPhone ones, but I guess that's to be expected. I don;t minds spending 40 or 50 quid on a good selection of applications, but don't want to buy crap...hence this topic. :o

I agree it’s a luxury item - I use mine as a quick portable solution.
iMac for serious stuff, Macbook for Djaying, iphone for phone/portability and iPad for fun/ease/speed

Would you say it's as good as a PC to use for web browsing?

Max, I don't think that's a comparison you can make. They are totally different beasts.
Gadget such as iPad are not full blown desktop operating systems, so the way you see and interact with the interweb is going to be different.
Not to mention Apple trying to oulaw Flash:( so purley from that, browsing using an Apple mobile device will NEVER be as 'multimedia' rich as from a desktop machine.
Although I too have wondered how browsing using something like an iPad compares to using a desktop/laptop/netbook with a full-on operating system:confused:
