has anyone got / heard / used one of the HK Audio XBA18 subs before. I'm looking to buy a single 18 inch sub to replace my Db Technologies sub15D's.
The HK sub is a direct radiating sub as opposed to the band pass design of the Db Technology subs - a concept I couldn't get on with at all. It achieves130db with a lowest frequency of 37Hz. It's similar to the sub used on the Lucas Alpha. The one thing I trust about HK Audio is their honesty regarding SPL's, frequency ranges etc. and the fact that they sound good.
Failing that, does anyone use the RCF NXS12A or TTS18A's because these look to be a good option although much more expensive than the HK's.
