10u dimensions

Hello all

Can anyone give me the dimensions in inches of a 10u sloping rack mixer case.

I am trying to get my head round these height units but to no avail.

The reason for asking is I want a new case to accomodate my berhinger vmx 1000 mixer & a prosound cd controller 2u size all on the top rack.

I am about to buy one but being new to this game I want to make sure it will all fit

From memory, I think the VMX1000 is 5U, so with a 2U CD drawer a 10U will give you plenty of room.

1U = 44mm

So 10U will be 440mm

440mm = 17.32 inches.
